Worked example
For a trip from 9 July through 15 July 2026, both dates included, the result is 7 calendar days, 6 nights, 5 weekdays and 2 weekend days. If you exclude 11 July, the counted travel days become 6; the trip still spans 6 nights.

Calculation method
The calculator treats the entered values as calendar dates and uses UTC date components for arithmetic, so the visitor's local daylight-saving changes do not add or remove trip days. Weekdays are counted as Monday through Friday; local holidays are not included unless you enter them in the exclusion list.
How it works
Enter the first and last dates of your trip. The calculator counts both endpoint dates as calendar days, nights as the date difference, and weekdays/weekends inclusively. Add any dates you want to exclude, one per line.
Good to know
How are trip days and nights counted?
Calendar days include both the start and end dates. Nights are the number of date changes between them, so a same-day trip is one calendar day and zero nights.
Are holidays excluded from weekdays?
No. Weekdays count Monday through Friday only. The calculator does not know your destination, public holidays, work schedule or travel rules; enter any dates you want excluded.
Does this check visa or stay limits?
No. It counts the dates you enter for planning. Use official immigration sources for entry, visa and permitted-stay rules.
