Before you book
Compare flight prices with checked-bag costs
Compare multi-segment ticket fares and checked-bag charges using your own current airline fees, included allowances, traveler count and source dates.
Answer: compare ticket price plus checked-bag charges across a multi-leg itinerary using only the figures and allowances you enter. No airline fee is prefilled or looked up.
The calculator adds each segment's ticket price and the total checked-bag charge you enter, then multiplies by the traveler count. It also totals the number of bags above the stated included allowance. It does not determine which carrier's baggage rules apply, whether segments share one ticket, or whether a bag can be checked through. Confirm each segment's fare family, route, cabin, operating carrier, loyalty or card benefits, bag dimensions/weight, currency, and purchase timing. Inputs stay in this browser.
Check baggage terms for every flight
Enter the baggage allowance and fee from the airline or ticket's current terms for each segment. Rules can vary with itinerary, fare, operating carrier, status or benefits. For a multi-airline itinerary, check the baggage terms shown on your ticket and confirm with the airlines before relying on an allowance.
For tickets involving travel to, from or within the United States, the U.S. Department of Transportation directs travelers to airline baggage-fee information and notes that additional overweight and oversized charges may apply. Its guidance is jurisdiction-specific; use the applicable airline and passenger-rights authority for other journeys.
Open the U.S. DOT guide to buying a ticket and finding baggage fees. For one airline's itinerary-specific allowance workflow, see EVA Air's baggage calculator.

This is a comparison worksheet, not an airline quote or eligibility decision. The source links illustrate how to verify terms; no baggage rules or fees are built into the calculation.
Compare your total travel spending in the trip budget planner, record shared payments in the trip expense splitter, and check the carry-on size checker for cabin-bag dimensions.
How it works
For each flight segment, enter the per-traveler fare, checked bags, included allowance, total bag charge, and the airline source and date you checked. Use the same currency for all figures.
Good to know
Does this tool look up airline baggage fees or decide which rules apply?
No. Enter the fee, allowance, source and check date for each segment from your ticket or airline. Confirm whether one set of baggage rules applies across a multi-airline or single-ticket itinerary.
How should I enter different charges for the first and later bags?
Add the charges that apply to the bag count you entered and record that total per traveler for the segment. Fees can vary by bag number, fare, route, purchase timing and passenger benefits.
Does the result include overweight or oversized fees?
Only if you include those amounts in the checked-bag charge you enter. Check size, weight and other restrictions separately with the airline.
