Track every entry and exit

Check Schengen short stays in a rolling 180-day calendar

Enter multiple Schengen trips and see each stay date’s previous 180-day count and remaining room under the 90-day reference limit.

Enter each short stay in the Schengen Area, including planned trips. The calendar counts each entry and exit date and shows, for every entered stay day, the number of Schengen stay days in the 180-day window ending that day and the remaining room under a 90-day reference limit.

Stay 1

Enter every previous and planned short stay, then calculate.

Dates are calendar dates in the Schengen Area. Both entry and exit dates count as stay days. Consecutive trips must use the dates actually present in the area; dates outside the area do not count. The tool includes up to 20 stays and up to 366 days per entered stay. It calculates day counts only and cannot decide visa eligibility, authorised duration, admissibility, or a border authority's decision.

Scope and official check

The European Commission describes the short-stay rule as a maximum of 90 days in any 180-day period, with the 180-day period counted back from each day of stay. The Commission says holders of a short-stay visa must not use its calculator when the visa authorizes fewer than 90 days; holders of an EU residence permit or long-stay visa do not use this short-stay calculation for those authorised stays.

Schengen status and personal exceptions matter. The Commission page lists 29 Schengen countries and says Cyprus and Ireland are not part of the area. Some nationalities or bilateral arrangements may have special conditions; visa facilitation agreements, residence status, and other exceptions can affect how a person's stay is assessed. Check your exact case with the official Commission calculator and the relevant consulate or border authority.

Open the European Commission short-stay calculator to review its current guidance and enter your trip dates in the official tool.

Official sources

This independent calendar is a planning aid, not an official EU calculator or legal determination. Check the official rules that apply to your nationality, visa, residence status and trip.

For the dates and local times on your itinerary, use the travel time-zone converter. Add confirmed accommodation and transport costs to the trip budget planner.

How it works

Add each previous and planned short stay with its entry and exit date. The calendar counts both boundary dates and reports the rolling 180-day total for every entered stay day.

Good to know

Are both entry and exit dates counted?

Yes. Article 6 of the Schengen Borders Code treats the entry date as the first day of stay and the exit date as the last day. This calendar counts both dates.

Does the 90-day result prove that I can enter or stay?

No. It is a date-counting aid for the 90/180 reference limit. Your visa may authorize fewer days, and nationality-specific rules, residence status, bilateral arrangements, entry conditions and border decisions can change what applies. Check the European Commission calculator and the relevant authority.

Which dates should I enter?

Enter every relevant short stay in a Schengen country, including both entry and exit dates. Do not enter periods authorized under an EU residence permit or long-stay visa in this short-stay calculation. Check the official guidance for your situation.
