Device support checklist
Troubleshoot eSIM setup, activation and no service
Choose iPhone or Google Pixel and the eSIM problem you see to get official setup, activation and connectivity steps. Confirm provider instructions before removing an eSIM.
Start here: select your phone and the symptom. The checklist organizes manufacturer instructions; your carrier or eSIM provider must confirm plan activation, coverage, account status and any provider-specific recovery process.
Choose the phone platform and symptom, then show the checklist.
Before removing an eSIM: do not delete the profile, reset network settings, or scan the same QR code again until the provider confirms that action is safe for this plan and tells you how to restore service. Some profiles or codes cannot be reused. Keep the original instructions and error message.
Steps that help support resolve it
- Record the exact on-screen message, when the issue began, your phone model and software version, the destination and whether the profile is visible in SIM settings.
- Check the plan's own instructions for supported model, installation location, activation trigger, validity start, supported network and roaming/data settings. Provider steps can differ.
- Contact the provider using its official support channel. Ask it to confirm plan status, profile provisioning, QR/profile reuse policy, coverage/outages and the next supported recovery step.
Share device identifiers such as IMEI or EID only through the provider's official support channel when requested. Never post them, activation codes, QR images, account passwords or PINs in a public forum. The checklist does not collect or transmit your selections.

Phone menu names can vary by operating-system version, region and carrier. Manufacturer instructions and provider terms can change; use the current linked guidance and your plan's current setup instructions.
Check whether your exact device supports the plan with the eSIM compatibility checker, then estimate an allowance using the eSIM data calculator. For destination-specific caveats, see the mainland China eSIM guide and Japan eSIM guide.
How it works
Choose your phone platform and the symptom you see. Follow the cited manufacturer steps in order, then contact the provider if the problem remains.
Good to know
Should I delete the eSIM and scan the QR code again?
Do not delete or reinstall an eSIM until its provider confirms the profile can be reissued or reused and explains its process. A QR code or activation token may be single-use or tied to the original installation.
Can this checklist confirm my plan is active or that coverage is available?
No. Only the eSIM provider or carrier can confirm plan status, account provisioning, outages, supported networks and plan-specific activation rules.
